Whether you prefer learning in small virtual groups or through one-on-one virtual sessions, our tailored approach ensures you achieve the success you desire.
The COOP (Cooperative Admissions Examination Program) is an entrance exam used by Catholic high schools to evaluate prospective students. It assesses a student’s readiness for high school-level coursework by testing their skills in various academic areas.
High School Admission: Used by Catholic high schools to evaluate applicants.
Placement: Helps determine the appropriate level of coursework for incoming students.
Group courses are taught in conjunction with the HSPT, TACHS and SHSAT with the SHSAT being the primary focus due to the content being more rigorous for this exam.
Skill Development
Vocabulary: Build a strong vocabulary through reading and practice with synonyms and antonyms.
Logic and Deduction: Practice identifying relationships between words and ideas
Main Idea Identification: Learn to identify the main idea and supporting details in a passage.
Inference Skills: Practice drawing conclusions from the text.
Understanding Context: Work on understanding the meaning of words or phrases based on context.
Grammar and Usage: Familiarize yourself with standard grammar rules, punctuation, and sentence structure.
Editing: Practice revising sentences and paragraphs for clarity and correctness.
Basic Arithmetic: Master addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Fractions, Decimals, and Percents: Convert between forms and solve related problems.
Algebra and Geometry Basics: Understand equations, shapes, area, perimeter, and basic geometric principles.
Problem-Solving: Develop skills to tackle word problems and logical math puzzles.
Number Patterns: Practice recognizing and completing sequences.
Logical Reasoning: Solve problems involving logic and numerical relationships.

- COOP Test Prep #1: (Large Group 20 max) - 8 Week Bootcamp 8 Sessions: 1 hour reading and writing / 1 Hour Math -2 hr total ) Virtual
- COOP Test Prep #2: (Small Group 5-10 max) (1 hour reading and writing / 1 Hour Math) -- Virtual
- COOP Test Prep #3 One on One -Tutoring Virtual (Staten Island, NY Only for in person)
