Personalized Mentorship Approach
At the Roe Institute, we offer a personalized mentorship experience that can be tailored to meet the needs of each participant. Whether in small virtual groups or through one-on-one virtual sessions, our mentors are equipped to deliver impactful guidance that resonates with each mentee.
One-on-One Virtual Sessions
- Focused Attention: Our one-on-one virtual sessions provide mentees with the opportunity for individualized attention and mentorship. This setting allows mentors to tailor their approach to the specific strengths, interests, and challenges of each participant.
- Personal Development: Mentors work closely with mentees to set personal goals,develop strategies for overcoming obstacles, and celebrate achievements, fostering a growth mindset and a sense of accomplishment.
- Flexible Scheduling: Recognizing the busy schedules of teens and pre-teens, we offer flexible session times to accommodate their availability and ensure they can fully engage with the mentorship process.
Skills Development
- Linear Equations & Inequalities: Solve or interpret linear equations, inequalities, and systems of equations.
- Graphing and Interpreting Linear Relationships: Read and interpret linear graphs and translate real-world situations into algebraic expressions.
- Ratios, Proportions, & Percentages: Solve questions involving percentages, ratios, proportional relationships, and unit conversions.
-Data Interpretation:
Interpret data in tables, charts, and graphs, including calculating mean, median, mode, and range.
- Probability and Statistics: Solve problems related to probability, including basic statistical measures

Nonlinear Expressions: Work with quadratic equations, exponential functions, and polynomials.
